AEMS on service for Canadian Coast Guard

After being tested by Transport Canada, our AEMS platform begins its next chapter. Our AEMS-COAST module has arrived at the Marine Technology Centre on Vancouver Island for a long-term deployment in support of the Canadian Coast Guard.

AEMS-COAST will further advance our vision of autonomous infrastructure by combining renewable energy, intelligent power management, communications, and modular mission capabilities into a resilient platform designed for unattended operation in remote maritime locations.

True Autonomy extends beyond perception and decision-making. It also requires intelligent energy management and continuous awareness of the surrounding environment.

These images, taken several hours apart by AEMS' external camera, show the platform continuously orienting its solar PV array throughout the day to maximize available solar energy
