Interesting comparison of energy cost per BTU delivered:
Energy-Prices-per-Million-BTUs
While still to be understood how these figures were derived and even what exactly do they include, I see the general idea. What is not there, and would be nice to have is the same for solar and other alternatives. With a very limited data available, my experience (from specific projects) results in the following:
Solar thermal = $350 / KBTUh
Air-to-water = $450 / KBTUh
Geo thermal = $600 / KBTUh
Any comments from anyone ?
