Happy New Year! As 2025 has wrapped up, we are wrapping up our project with Transport Canada.
It
hasn’t been always wrinkle-free, and it shouldn't - that exactly what
real-world testing is for. The year-long evaluation again validated the concept of Autonomous Environment Monitoring and Surveillance (AEMS) and the flexibility of its modular platform.
Multiple
autonomous deployments in a single day, week after week - far beyond
typical operational use - and the successful addition of autonomous UAV
hosting, launch, retrieval, and charging proved the system’s
adaptability and evolvability.
The lessons learned are
already shaping the next generation of AEMS, which has now begun
crystallizing, with applications for Canadian Coast Guard, Space-Terrestrial Communications and other missions, and clear dual-use relevance for defence, security, and
remote operations. Stay tuned.
